The summer months see the peak of any photographer’s workload (if you’re based in the UK, that is). Long summer days make for wonderful portraiture opportunities particularly during the warm light of the late afternoon and early evening. And we photograph plenty of animals too – not just domestic pets, in fact our animal photography service includes rare breed photography and fine art animal portraiture. If we’re really lucky, we’ll get a few hours to work on our own projects, such as rare or endangered animals in captivity. It was great to get a few hours at Marwell Zoological Park in Hampshire recently. I really wanted to get these shots, because I don’t know how many more opportunities I will have to see these creatures in my lifetime. If you’d like to see some of the special animals who live at Marwell then head over to our pet and animal photography site by clicking HERE. Remember that Marwell is a charity, so by visiting you’ll be helping to contribute to the valuable conservation work which the park is so famous for.
