How do I book a session with you?
Simply send us a message or better still pick up the phone! We’ll always have a good chat about your needs before you book, so you’re fully aware of how our service works and what everything costs.

How much does a photo session cost?

What kind of photography do you offer?
We specialise in portrait photography of families, individuals, couples, children, and pets. We’d also love to help you if you’re considering some natural photographs for your business or a dating site. We also offer photography training for beginners and advanced amateurs (please see our Workshops section).

What areas do you cover?
We cover most of South East and Southern England, and further afield by special arrangement. Most of our clients are in west Sussex, East Sussex, Surrey, Kent and Hampshire.

What’s your photographic style?
Our style is natural and spontaneous, and we work within our subjects’ own surroundings or favourite places. In other words, we work on location in all sorts of different places such as clients’ homes and gardens and anywhere which is scenic unsuitable for photography. Are you insured?
Of course, we carry full liability and indemnity cover.

Do you have any qualifications?
Lindsay has reached the highest accreditation achievable within the photography industry – she is a Fellow of the British Institute of Professional Photography and The Societies. As well as being widely published in the photographic press, Lindsay is a brand ambassador for Olympus and has won many awards for people portraiture, animal photography and wildlife, and fine art photography. Do you photograph pets?
Absolutely we do! In fact we’ve won many awards for our pet and animal photography. Please see our dedicated pet and animal area: Award Winning Pet Photography.

Where will my session take place?
Usually we’ll start at your home, moving on to somewhere scenic (such as a favourite walk, woodland, beach, or anywhere you feel is special).

How long does the session last?
For up to 4 participants please allow a couple of hours (ideally a bit longer if we’re moving between locations). If there are more people (or pets) in your party these can be added for a small additional surcharge.

Does the session fee include any photos?
For our portrait services, your reservation/session fee covers our travel (within 25 miles), around 2 hours of photography on location, our postproduction and basic retouching service and of course your own viewing and product consultation. Your photographs are then purchased separately in the form of wall items, albums, or boxed print collections.

How long does it take before I see the pictures?
Following your session the photographs will pass through our editing and processing stream, before we finally produce a set of proofs for viewing. For our standard portrait service please allow a couple of weeks for this.

What sort of products do you sell?
Everything from fabulous wall presentations (including classic bespoke mounting and framing, modern canvases and framed canvases, vintage frames and acrylics) to fine quality handmade albums.

Do you sell packages?
We offer several product collections, which represent a saving over our à la carte price list.

How long does it take for products to arrive?
All of our goods are handmade to order and we suggest allowing 2-3 weeks for wall items and up to 5 weeks for our heirloom albums.

Can I just buy a pack of loose prints?
Because our overheads per client are now so high (and because we offer a customised bespoke service) we would be running at a considerable loss if we offered unmounted prints in the first instance. However you’re very welcome to purchase these after you’ve made your choices from our main products as mentioned above.

How do I pay for my order?
Because your products are custom items made specially for you, we require full payment before we can place your order with our laboratories. Most of our clients pay with their credit card, usually through PayPal (you don’t need a PayPal account), or cash if you prefer.

Do you offer refunds if I change my mind?
No, this is because we cannot return your goods to the manufacturer since they are custom made items. However if any of our products arrive with a defect or fault we will of course arrange for this to be rectified.
