Fine Art Pet Photography Surrey

When I set up my pet photography business just a few months ago, I had no idea that I would have the chance to photograph such an amazing array of pets and animals – and what a joy it’s been. Animal portraits are treasured by their owners, and our bespoke presentation ranges (including fine albums and wall art products) are sure to impress. Please see our dedicated pet photography website (accessed on the top menu bar).  Pets are photographed on location where they can relax and be themselves, but occasionally the scenes we encounter lend themselves to our fine art techniques and specialized processing as seen in the images below. We have won numerous awards for our animal portraiture. We cover East Sussex, West Sussex, Surrey, Hampshire, Kent, Buckinghamshire and further afield if necessary.

Lindsay you must be one of the few people on earth who can turn a shot of a hen into a work of art. These pictures are amazing, you must have the patience of a saint!

I’ve found that photographing fowl can be incredibly challenging. They may not appear to move quickly, but in fact they do, in short fast ‘jerks’. All we can do is try and get a high enough shutter speed and hope we can maintain focus if we end up with a shallow DOF. Even then it’s highly likely some or all of the bird will be blurred. In fact the shot above isn’t particularly sharp for that very reason. The rabbit on the other hand did exactly as he was told!
