Welcome to the pet and animal section of my website – I’m a West Sussex pet photographer and fine art animal portrait photographer, working throughout Sussex, Surrey, Hampshire and Kent. Please also visit our people portraits site by clicking here: Portrait Photographer West Sussex.
If you’re an animal lover, as I am, then I hope you’ll find many images on this site which will make you smile. I find animal and pet photography so rewarding and uplifting, and I’m delighted to have photographed pets, kept animals, and wild animals of all shapes and sizes. Some of them have taken direction as well as my human subjects, and others have left a lasting impression for very different reasons. But all, without exception, are special, and I believe strongly that much loved pets and animals deserve to be photographed just as we do.
I have won many recognised industry medals and accreditations for dog photography, cat photography, equine photography, small animal photography and nature photography. I am delighted to have gained the title of SWPP and BPPA (The Societies) Photographer Of The Year for Pet Portraiture. I’m proud to have gained the highest level of qualification with the largest and most prestigious bodies representing professional photographers worldwide. I’m a Fellow of both the British Institute of Professional Photography and The Societies (SWPP and BPPA).
Only accredited photographers have been examined, monitored and regulated by the body representing them (BIPP, SWPP, BPPA, RPS and MPA) and are strictly bound by a code of professional and ethical conduct. Only those photographers may bear the relevant lettering after their name. The influx of low-priced and untrained photographers in recent years has done much to confuse the public and damage our industry, and as such qualifications and merits from the awarding bodies described above remain the benchmark of professional excellence.
I’m based in England, in rural West Sussex, midway between the towns of Worthing and Horsham. I cover most of the South East, and further afield by special arrangement.
