Photography for a Bespoke Family Album in Surrey
Brother and sister William and Anna have got to be the trendiest youngsters I’ve photographed so far – and I think you’ll agree they look great. Photographing families is a lot of fun, and we had a great time working our way through the various outfits which William and Anna had brought along for the session. This really helps us to give clients a range of very different photographs for their album. It also embodies what's meant by modern lifestyle photography – no stuffy or boring studios, just great natural shots of people doing what they enjoy doing. This usually means being outdoors, laughing, and interacting with each other. We are of course shooting with the end result in mind – along the lines of a stunning bespoke album and a framed piece of wall art or two.
I photograph almost all of my subjects on location. This means I'll visit your home or a locality familiar to you (preferably both). I’ll then spend a couple of hours photographing you as individuals and as a family, creating simple yet striking portraits as well as the more fun group photographs (and of course dynamic interactive images as well). Most of my clients will be wanting a combination of wall pieces and a family album which is likely to become a much loved heirloom, treasured for years to come. One thing my clients tell me often is this: children grow up in the blink of an eye and all too often parents can look back with regret if their only records of that childhood are a few random snapshots, many of which become lost or torn over time.
The value of personalised professional photography should never be underestimated. Whilst it might seem costly (most of what a photographer charges will cover their business overheads and the costs of the products which are custom made for each client) it is a truly unique and very personal investment, unlike any other service you might engage with in your lifetime.
